Angela Elia is a soulful alt/pop singer, songwriter, musician and Human of New York. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised along the East Coast, Angela began vocal training at age 6, and wrote her first song at 11. She fell in love with the craft. She taught herself to play guitar and keys shortly after, and would go on to write and perform in an all girl punk/rock  band with three friends for three years in high school. 

Angela's sound is the result of influences that range from Christina Aguilera and Ingrid Michaelson to Nirvana and Sara Bareilles, as well as music, art and poetry made by her friends, who inspire her perhaps above anything else. Her songs stress vocal performance, imagistic lyrics, pointed harmony and inviting rhythm.

She is currently creating and recording her first album while performing in New York, Philadelphia, and more.
